Contact Sheet

A darkroom for your images — shrink file sizes, pull a color palette with accessibility scoring, erase a background, and reveal the hidden data inside a photo. Everything runs on your device; nothing is uploaded anywhere.

Photos straight from a phone or camera are often much bigger than they need to be for a website — sometimes 5–10 MB each. This tool shrinks the file size (and, if you want, the pixel dimensions too) while keeping the picture looking sharp, so your pages load faster.

Drop an image here or click to browse — JPG, PNG, WebP

Loads a sample image so you can see it work before uploading your own.

Pull out the main colors from any photo — handy for matching a website theme to a brand photo, picking a paint color, or building a color scheme for a design. Each color is also checked for text readability against white and black backgrounds, using the same accessibility standard (WCAG) required for legible websites.

Loads a colorful sample image so you can see it work first.
Colors are clustered on-device with a k-means algorithm over the image's pixels — nothing is uploaded for that part. Color names are looked up live from the open TheColorAPI; if that service is ever unreachable, the tool automatically falls back to a built-in offline list of standard color names so it still works. Contrast badges follow WCAG 2.1: 4.5:1 or higher passes for normal text (AA).

Automatically erase the background from a photo, leaving just the subject on a transparent background — great for profile pictures, product shots, or stickers. Works best on people and clear, single subjects.

Segmentation runs fully in-browser via Google's open-source MediaPipe Selfie Segmentation model, streamed once from a public CDN on first use (a couple of MB) and cached by the browser afterward. No image data ever leaves the visitor's device.

Every photo your phone or camera takes quietly stores extra information inside the file itself — what device took it, the exact settings used, and sometimes even the GPS location. This is called EXIF data. This tool reads that hidden information out of your file and shows it in plain language.

Loads a sample JPEG with example camera & GPS data baked in.
Reading happens with the open-source exif-js library, loaded once from a public CDN. The file is read directly in your browser — it is never sent anywhere, including to us.

How to Use

  3. Step 3: Crop or resize the dimensions as needed, then click 'Export'.

Example Calculation

Scenario: Resizing a 4000x3000 photo to 1920x1080.

  • Target Width: 1920
  • Maintain Aspect Ratio: True

Result: Image resized to 1920x1440.

By maintaining the aspect ratio, setting the width to 1920 automatically scales the height to 1440 to prevent distortion.
